Couples Therapy For Grieving Parents
The Elizabeth Rose Foundation subsidises evidence-based couples therapy for couples who have experienced the sudden and unexpected loss of a child during pregnancy, birth, infancy or childhood up to 18 years of age. Our services include:
Connecting grieving parents to therapists trained in couples therapy and grief and loss to support them throughout their journey.

Subsidising the
cost of evidence-based couples therapy so couples can protect their relationship.

Enabling the
community to support grieving parents by donating funds for therapy in honour
of a child.

Providing education
to health professionals on the importance of evidence-based couples therapy following the sudden loss of a child.

Increasing community awareness about how grief after the sudden loss of a child impacts a couple’s relationship.

We look forward to the day when we have gathered enough funding to offer subsidised, evidence‑based couples therapy to grieving parents. When that moment arrives, The Elizabeth Rose Foundation will open the doors to its couples therapy program and begin welcoming new client enquiries, offering hope and support to those who need it most.
